Before Journal Entry:
Hi, my name is Liam Thombson, and I live in Springfield (for those who don’t know, it is to the left of the Hotspring River). I’m not the type of kid who plays sports or video games, but there’s one thing I enjoy, and that’s robotics. Right now, I’m in college to become an engineer, and my dream is to work at Spring Tech (a huge engineering company in my city). They recruit 20 new people per year, and that’s in 2 WEEKS! I NEED to get in! The problem is, most of the people working there are 30-40 years old, but I’m 18! Here’s the question: What if I don’t make it? Well, the one thing I can do is practice, practice, practice. When I woke up this morning, I ate blueberry pancakes (I know it’s kidd-ish). I got my tools (the ones my grandpa gave to me for my birthday) and went to my grandpa’s house to practice. I stayed there for 7 long hours (with a tiny lunch break) and studied the things they were gonna test me on. After that, I ate dinner, went to bed, and replicated that for 2 weeks. It was the last night before the test, and I got a bad feeling: What if I don’t make it? That’s all I could think about for the next 15 minutes! Then, I decided, I’m gonna make it! I wanted to get a good night's sleep, so I went to bed. I woke up the morning of the test and felt confident! On my way there, I was shaking like an excited dog's tail!
